Tijdens het Nederlandse voorzitterschap van de EU verrijst op de kop van het Java-eiland de FabCity Campus. Vierhonderd jonge studenten, professionals en kunstenaars bouwen hier van april tot juni 2016 een zelfvoorzienende stad, waarin ze werken, wonen, creëren, optreden, onderzoeken en oplossingen presenteren voor de hedendaagse, stedelijke vraagstukken. De Hogeschool van Amsterdam is samen met de Amsterdam School of Metropolotan Solutions (AMS) kernpartner in dit project.

The Dutch company MX3D researches and develops pioneering, profitable robotic 3D print technology. MX3D has the capacity to 3D print smart, functional objects composed of sustainable materials in virtually any shape, much larger and more efficiently than has been possible up until now.
Netherlands, Amsterdam, April 11, 2016.During the dutch chairmanship of the EU FabCity Campus rises on Amsterdam Java-island. Four hundred young students, professionals and artists build here from April to June 2016 a self-sufficient city in which they live, work, create, act, investigate and present solutions to contemporary urban issues. The University of Amsterdam with the Amsterdam School of Metropolotan Solutions (AMS) core partner in this project.
