A peek in the kitchen of the family company FEBO.
Febo is a snack bar chain in the Netherlands. The founder started as a baker and confectioner.
In 1942, Maison Febo (originally Bakery Febo) was founded by Johan de Borst (1919-2008). What began as a bakery grew into an automatic, where Johan Borst sold homemade croquettes.
The name 'Febo' derives from the Amsterdam Ferdinand Bolstraat in the Pijp.
The croquettes and meat burgers are still produced with the authentic recipe of Grandfather Borst and prepared fresh every day. FEBO continuously ensures that the products still have the same quality as before.
FEBO starts very early in the morning with making a bouillon made from fresh vegetables and then make a ragout with the best quality meat of 100% Dutch cattle from the area. From this ragout the famous FEBO croquette is made fresh every day. The croquettes are always freshly made and never frozen.
